This site will hopefully be used by the Edinburgh-folk to announce to the world the birth of their children.
In order to show what you can do with this type of advert, Davie decided he would use his daughter as a belated example of what he would have done had this service been available when she was born. A standard announcement will be in the following format :-

Mhairi was born at Elsie Inglis Maternity hospital on Wednesday morning at 08.58. She weighed in at 5lbs 5oz and is perfectly healthy even if she is a little early.
Susan & Davie would like to thank Big Davie ( favourite uncle ) and Harry ( Susan's dad ) for looking after big brothers Dominic and Ben Henry and making life a little easier for us to welcome Mhairi Louise into the world.
We hope the names, Mhairi after grandmother Mary Purves, and Louise after grandmother Louise Greig, both no longer with us, will be as special to our wee girl as they are to us 		mg230388
