Some useful links pertaining to Edinburgh and some for Edinburgh Accommodation Places To AVOID This is something I thought i would'nt do but i've heard too many complaints about this place. The "Why Not" night club definately comes into the above catogory. The 'doormen' can happily be descibed as an arrogant 'lot' ( bar stewards for the more polite of us ), a policy that seemingly is encouraged by 'the management'. There are loads of great clubs in Edinburgh but 'Why Not' does not appear to be one of them and thus become the 1st of Edinburgh Places to Avoid To counteract the bad press above I think I should point out one of the happier and more enjoyable outings. For a great dining experience, residents and visitors, should take a wee trip to the Royal Mile and there visit Wedgewood, where the food is great and the service sublime.
